Risk Stratification
0 = 0% rebleed, 0% mortality → Early discharge
1–2 = ~5% rebleed, <1% mortality → Early discharge
3–4 = ~11–14% rebleed, ~5% mortality → Inpatient
≥5 = 24–40% rebleed, 24–41% mortality → HDU/ICU

Pre-endoscopy score of 0 (no comorbidities, not in shock, age <60) = very low risk — consider early discharge post-endoscopy.
