When to use
- Rapid bedside assessment of patients with suspected infection
- qSOFA ≥2 → assess full SOFA, take blood cultures, check lactate
- Not a diagnostic tool — a screening prompt for sepsis pathway
- Use in ward / ED / pre-hospital settings (not ICU — use SOFA)

qSOFA = RR ≥22 + SBP ≤100 + GCS <15
Range: 0–3
